- [02:20:12] treatment PT: Nicole Tucker Hey Diane, Great to have you here! My name is Nicole and I will be your Physical Therapist throughout your journey with Sword. I'm excited to work together to help you get out of pain and back to the activities you love. This chat will be our primary mode of communication so please turn notifications on so you don’t miss any important updates regarding your protocol or questions about how you are tolerating the sessions. Send me a chat ANYTIME with questions, comments, concerns, tech issues, etc. Or feel free to give me a phone call/text at 385-317-2475. I've used this information and I created specific exercises that are ready for you on your tablet. I like to start with a few 5-10 minute sessions so I can gather information on how you're moving and how hard/easy the exercises are for you. For the next 10 days (as soon as you get your tablet), your goal is to complete one of these shorter sessions every day (or up to twice a day if your body allows). Do you think that sounds doable?
- [14:01:40] SMS intake PT: Jamie Bolt Hi Diane, it’s Jamie from Sword. Great talking with you during the onboarding call! - [12:13:02] treatment PT: Nicole Tucker Hi Diane! Great job on completing your first session! 🎉 I noticed you experienced some pain during the exercises. Was there a specific activity that increased your symptoms? 🏁I use the first few sessions to set your baseline then we make program progressions from there based on your tolerance and feedback from the sessions. 📌Remember if something is too difficult, feel free to skip it by touching the screen and select “next exercise” or try aiming for a lower star count of 2 or 3 until we build up more strength and endurance to avoid over-straining. 🎯Completing short daily sessions (or up to 2 sessions a day if your body allows) for the next 10 days will allow us to jump start progress towards working without pain as quickly as possible so we can reach your goals of less pain and improved physical fitness. By keeping this cadence, you will hit Sword’s first big milestone of 9 sessions (*program expectation*) within the first 3 weeks or less. Let me know if you have any questions, otherwise let's rock the rest of this week! 🌟Feel free to set reminders in the Sword Health app to stay on track with your sessions! You can set reminders by going to the home page on the app --> press the gear icon in the top right corner --> set reminders.
- [15:49:02] patient: Diane Lynch Hi Nicole. I noted on the iPad what increased my pain. Some of the exercises as well as the cool down increased pain/soreness. I will do my next session later today when I get home as it’s impossible to get on the work WiFi (😩). I tried logging on but too much hassle. I will do my session later when I get home.

- [16:36:27] treatment PT: Nicole Tucker Hi Diane! Thanks for completing another session and letting me know about the exercises that increased your pain. I'll make some adjustments to your program to better match your comfort level. For the standing row, try focusing on squeezing your shoulder blades together as Phoenix suggested - this can help target the right muscles while minimizing discomfort. Remember if something is too difficult, feel free to skip it by touching the screen and select “next exercise” or try aiming for a lower star count of 2 or 3 until we build up more strength and endurance to avoid over-straining. Let me know how the next session feels with these modifications!

- [13:23:41] treatment PT: Nicole Tucker Hi Diane! Great to hear you're noticing some improvement with less pain overall. By completing 3 sessions so far, you’re well on your way to completing 9-10 sessions, which is when our research shows most people start to see reduction in symptoms. By keeping up with this cadence, you should start to see relief in 2-3 weeks. Please let me know if there is any other feedback for me to make the session better, I would love to help! Keep up the great, consistent work!

Great job on session #4! 💪 I see you received your resistance bands - these will be helpful tools as we progress your program, keep those in a safe place for now. - [16:58:08] treatment PT: Nicole Tucker Hi Diane! Great to hear your elbow is feeling a little better - that's progress! 🎉 I noticed some technical issues with the prayer position stretch on Friday's session, so I've removed that exercise from your program. Also saw your fatigue was higher, so let's focus on quality over quantity - if you need to aim for 2-3 stars instead of 5 to keep your energy up, that's perfectly fine! Ready to keep the momentum going with another one today? 💪

- [17:09:42] SMS patient: Diane Lynch Hi Nicole. Thank you for reaching out. The orthopedic surgeon indicated that I have epicondylitis and gave me three distinct stretches/exercise to do 2 to 3 times a day. He also told me I needed to ice the area. And he prescribed diclofenac for me to use twice a day for 15 days. I can send you the exercises that he wants me to do and you can rework them into my PT with sword to be consistent with his recommendations. Please let me know if I should take pictures and send to you.
